Parks and Recreation (S.4, Ep.12)

Parks and Recreation is a fabulous show and I don't care what anyone says. Seriously it is great.

Paul Rudd was great on the show this week. He played the very self-centered political opponent against Leslie. I'm not sure how many more episodes he'll be in, or if he'll be in any more episodes....but I actually don't think I'd mind if he is or isn't going to be in future episodes.
In my eyes, his role on the show just helped reveal how perfect Leslie is to win city counsel. She loves Pawnee so much. She was made to be the head of the town. Leslie is perfect for the job.

Also, Andy and April's visits to the doctor was hilarious. Andy is dumb in a very lovable way. It also makes me very happy to see how April is just going along with these things that Andy does....I love their unusual, but nice relationship. And Ann (ah you beautiful tropical fish) and Leslie's friendship is very special and strong; Ann always tries to help out Leslie.

Parks and Recreation is a must see show. The characters will captivate you, and make you laugh. Such a great show in so many ways.

Revenge (S.1, Ep.13)

Revenge is a wonderful show with lots of drama. I remember that at first, I was not planning on watching this show, but I'm glad I did.

Emily's personality captures me yet again. She puts on a great act in front of the people she is trying to gain revenge upon, and she uses her friends to her advantage (especially with her friend who is pretending to be Amanda Clarke). I'm still confused as to whether she loves Daniel or not, even though she said in past episodes that she doesn't.
Oh and I already did not like Victoria, but this week's episode really puts me over the edge. Claiming rape as a cover-up (instead of just admitting that she loved David Clarke), makes me dislike her character more, but it pushes the story along and will likely make Emily think of another plan (likely she already has a plan, since she said 'yes' to Daniel).

We'll have to wait and see what will happen next.
I'm still waiting to see how Jack finds out about Emily's true identity!!!

Happy Endings (S.2, Ep.12)

Happy Endings is one of my favorite tv shows. The characters are amazing and I am always guaranteed to laugh a lot during each episode.

This newest episode was a favorite of mine. Seeing old Brad and old Jane come back was extremely funny. And of course Penny's relationship problems continue, but she tries to fix them once again (the year of Penny!). Dave's addiction to v-necks was a hilarious thing to see, and I've always been wondering about those v-necks anyway, so I was glad for a comical way for them to explain it all.

This show never ceases to make me laugh. Everyone should watch this show, especially if you were a fan of the show, Friends. The shows are similar, but not enough to say that Happy Endings is copying Friends. Happy Endings has different stories and different character types. It's a must watch show.

Whitney (S.1, Ep.12)

I personally love the show, Whitney.

This NBC show is funny, has very enjoyable characters, and delivers great comical lines.

Since Whitney is afraid of marriage, the thought of her being a maid of honor is hilarious, but she tries her best. The scene where she tries on the horrible dresses was very funny.
Favorite part of the episode? Lily being afraid of using the bathroom in her own apartment after her fiance moves in. I was laughing so hard as she tries to cover up the sound of her using the bathroom, and I laughed harder at the comical solution to her plan.

The hilarious characters is what makes me watch this show every week. Whether it is Alex pretending to be hipster, Roxanne & Mark talking about how many sexual partners they've had, or Whitney waking up screaming after having a dream of her about to get married.....this show is funny.

Don't judge this show until you're watched a few episodes (and I mean more than 1 episode!).

Are You There, Chelsea? (S.1, Ep.2)

The first episode of this new NBC show was disappointing, but the second episode showed more potential.

Chelsea's adventure with her sister's ex-boyfriend, Sloane's comical remarks about her sister, and Rick's old girlfriend were all funny aspects of the episode. The best part of the episode (and of the entire show in my opinion), is the character of Dee Dee. I think her character is what is keeping me from quitting this show (although I have to admit that the handsome Rick, played by actor Jake McDorman, is another reason). Dee Dee's dancing and singing scene in front of the tv was a highlight of the episode. Her awkwardness is hilarious (and also her aversion to anything sex related).

Keep watching this show.
Give it a chance, and don't stop watching after the first episode. Enjoy the fast laughs and comical one-liners.

Oh, side note.....thanks for reading the first post of this new blog. I hope you keep reading! :)
